Prof. Roman Buckow, University of Sydney, Australia
Roman Buckow is a Professor of Practice in Food Engineering at the Centre for Advanced Food Enginomics of the University of Sydney, Australia. He obtained his PhD in Food Process Engineering from the Berlin University of Technology in Germany. Until recently he was a research manager and leader at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency. His research is focussed on nutrition engineering and food safety of novel food systems using advanced food processing technologies. He has actively carry-out applied research with industry with a strong track record of successful commercial adaptation in dairy, meat and legume processing and product innovations. Roman has also published over 90 articles and book chapters.
