bio-Pintas

Dr. Davidovich-Pinhas graduate her BSc in Biochemical Engineering and both her MSc and PhD in the Chemical Engineering department, Technion, Israel. Her post-doctoral fellow at University of Guelph concentrated on oil-based gels, termed oleogels. Since 2015, she is the head of the Lipid and Soft Matter laboratory in the faculty of Biotechnology and Food engineering, Technion, Israel. The research done in her lab combine material science and engineering concepts toward the development of new soft matter systems for biotechnology and food applications. More specifically, her research focuses on structure-property-function relation of soft matter biomaterials using x-ray diffraction, microscopy, thermal, rheology and texture analyses.
