Talk Title: Impact of mild processing on food spoilage fungi

 Process Technology at Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (WR). She obtained her MSc degree in Food Science at Wageningen University and a PhD degree (microbiology) at Wageningen University. Her research activities focus on control of foodborne spoilage and pathogenic micro-organisms along the food production chain. She is involved as project leader and/or scientific experts in numerous multidisciplinary research projects that involved the microbiology of (novel) food preservation processes.
